Editorial policy

WiNyuuz publishes local journalism from the Archipelago, independent of parties, campaigns and public contracts.

Principles

1. Verification: we do not state as fact what only circulates on social media. We label rumors and cite sources.
2. Attribution: every summary links to the original source when one exists.
3. Public interest: we prioritize safety, services, government, weather, tourism and Raizal rights.
4. Minimize harm: we do not expose minors or private data; we avoid images of corpses.
5. Correction: we amend errors visibly (corrections policy).
6. Languages: Spanish and English; San Andrés Creole as draft until native validation.
